Community Guidelines

Welcome to the Stryker Vocera Community! We are glad to have you with us. Please read over the following community guidelines and rules of conduct to help keep our members safe, supported, and always respected.

Stryker Vocera Community is a customer portal and community website, available to authenticated members at this time on https://vocera.stryker.com. Posts and questions will be visible to public guest users with only logged in users able to post comments and access our complete resources.

1.   Do not post or share PHI (Personal Health Information) or PII (Personally Identifiable Information) in a post or a question. Moderators may remove the following: images that share PHI or PII, posts sharing medical advice, copywritten information, or email signatures on posts that include PII.

2.   Advertisements or endorsements of products outside the nature of the forum or solicitation are prohibited.

3.   Remain respectful at all times.

  • Exercise tolerance and respect toward other participants whose views may differ from your own. We are here to learn, grow, and share ideas.
  • We are a global community. Be mindful that not everyone shares the same practices and ideas. Take what you like and leave the rest.

4.   Be polite.

  • Do not use obscene or hateful language. Profanity, vulgarity and abusive language are out-of-bounds.
  • Avoid typing in ALL CAPS, as it is considered shouting.

5.   Stay on topic.

  • Create a clear descriptive title for any discussion that you start. This helps people know what you want to ask or talk about.
  • Take note of the topic of the discussion you are participating in. Stay on topic.
  • Tangents will happen sometimes. If they do, that's okay. But bring the discussion back to the main topic.

6.   Report or flag posts for review

  • Report any offensive, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable postings to our Community Moderator Team by flagging a post for review.
  • If a member posts an error of fact or inappropriate content as defined by our Community Guidelines, the Community Management Team will review the post and use policy criteria to determine further action.
